What are the responsibilities and job description for the Family Caregivers for Disadvantaged Youth position at Milton Hershey School?
Milton Hershey School is seeking married couples to become full-time houseparents. These caregivers will provide a family-like structure for students from disadvantaged backgrounds living on-campus.
As a houseparent, you and your spouse will be responsible for guiding a group of 8-12 students. This includes daily devotions, taking students to Sunday chapel services, and providing a nurturing environment. You will also handle various tasks such as driving, administering medication, and maintaining the student home.
The ideal candidate has at least two years of marriage and a commitment to supporting students in their academic and personal growth. A valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 50 lbs are required. Both spouses must complete an individual employment application.
