Housing Parents at Milton Hershey School provide a consistent family-like structure for students and handle responsibilities such as driving, administering medication, budgeting, reporting, etc. When initially hired, housing parents cover different student homes before being assigned to one specific home.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates must have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. Both spouses should be age 27 or older, have a high school diploma or GED, and be comfortable leading students in daily devotions. Valid driver's licenses and certifications to drive student home vans are also required.
