Flex Houseparents Role
As a flex houseparent at Milton Hershey School, you will reside in an on-campus student home with your spouse and serve as guardians for a group of 8-12 students. Your responsibilities will include managing household duties, nurturing the students, and ensuring their safety. You will also be responsible for daily devotions and taking students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services. This unique role requires a high degree of integrity, as all staff members are role models for our students.

As a flex houseparent, you will enjoy a competitive salary of $43,825 per person, along with a total compensation package of approx. $150,000 per couple, which includes free housing, meals while on duty, utilities, and more. Additionally, you will receive relocation assistance and paid training. Requirements
To be eligible for this role, you must have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from underserved settings. This is a two-person job for couples who have been legally married for at least two years. Both spouses should be age 27 or older, and no more than three dependent children may reside in the student home. You must abide by a smoke-free and weapon-free campus and have valid driver's license. Couples must be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services.
