Milton Hershey School, a world-renowned educational institution, is seeking married couples to join our team as Family Guidance Coordinators. In this unique role, you will reside on-campus with a group of students from disadvantaged backgrounds, providing family-like support and structure. Your responsibilities will include guiding students, handling daily tasks such as driving and administering medication, and creating a positive living environment.
We offer a competitive salary of $43,825 per person, resulting in a total compensation package of approximately $150,000 for couples. This includes free housing, meals while on duty, utilities, and more. In addition to the financial rewards, we provide relocation assistance and paid training to ensure your success in this role. You will enjoy a schedule of nine days on followed by three days off, with personal time while students are at school. We also offer three-week paid summer vacation.
To be eligible for this position, you must have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. Both spouses should be age 27 or older, and no more than three dependent children may reside in the student home. We require a smoke-free and weapon-free campus, and pets are limited to fish and one dog of approved breeds.
You will need to hold a valid driver's license and be able to become certified to drive student home vans. Couples must be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services. A high school diploma or GED is required, and you must demonstrate a high degree of integrity as all staff are role models for students.
