Job Overview:
Milton Hershey School is seeking a married couple to become part of our houseparent team. As family guidance coordinators, you will provide a nurturing environment for students from disadvantaged backgrounds by residing in on-campus homes and guiding them through their daily lives.
The ideal candidates should have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. This is a two-person job for couples who have been legally married for at least two years and are age 27 or older. Both spouses must be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services.
Responsibilities:
• Provide a family-like structure for students and handle responsibilities such as driving, administering medication, budgeting, and reporting
• Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure the well-being and success of students
• Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge
• Maintain a safe and healthy living environment for students
