What are the responsibilities and job description for the Family Guidance Specialists position at Milton Hershey School?
Milton Hershey School is seeking dedicated couples to join our team as flex houseparents. As a flex houseparent, you will be part of a dynamic team that provides essential support and guidance to a group of students in a family-like environment.
You will work closely with other houseparents to create a safe and nurturing space for students to learn and grow. Responsibilities include managing household responsibilities, driving students, and administering medication. You will also have opportunities to engage in activities that promote student development, such as daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services.
As a valued member of our team, you will receive a total compensation package of approx. $150,000 per couple, which includes free housing, meals while on duty, utilities, and more. To qualify, you must have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. Both spouses should be age 27 or older, and no more than three dependent children may reside in the student home. Abide by a smoke-free and weapon-free campus, and limitations on pets apply.
