What are the responsibilities and job description for the Family Life Coordinators for Youth Education position at Milton Hershey School?
Milton Hershey School is a world-class private school that provides an exceptional career-focused education to students from disadvantaged backgrounds. As a support team for these students, we seek dedicated couples to become flex houseparents, guiding and nurturing a group of approximately 8-12 students.
Couples will reside in on-campus student homes, creating a family-like environment for students, handling responsibilities such as driving, administering medication, budgeting, and reporting. This is a two-person job for couples who have been legally married for at least two years and are committed to serving students together.
Qualifications
Candidates must have experience working or volunteering with youth, a high school diploma or GED, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Couples must also demonstrate a high degree of integrity and be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services.
