What are the responsibilities and job description for the Family Life Directors position at Milton Hershey School?
Milton Hershey School is seeking married couples to serve as Flex Houseparents and provide a nurturing family-like environment for our students.
As a couple, you will reside in an on-campus student home and guide a group of approximately 8-12 students. Your responsibilities will include providing daily care, managing household tasks, and supporting students' academic and personal growth.
We are committed to supporting the whole child, which includes providing opportunities for physical activity, socialization, and spiritual growth. Our students participate in various extracurricular activities, sports, and clubs, and we expect our Flex Houseparents to be active participants in these activities.
Our ideal candidate has experience working with youth, preferably in under-served settings, and is able to lift up to 50 lbs. Both spouses must complete individual employment applications and be willing to undergo a thorough background check.
