Responsibilities
Your primary responsibilities as a Houseparent will include:
- Providing a consistent and supportive environment for students
- Managing student homes, including meal planning, household chores, and maintenance
- Assisting with transportation, including driving student home vans
- Helping students with daily tasks, such as homework, personal care, and recreation
- Participating in daily devotions and taking students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services
Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings
- Legally married couples with at least two years of marriage experience
- Both spouses should be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid driver's license; ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Demonstrated high degree of integrity
