What are the responsibilities and job description for the Family-Like Caregivers position at Milton Hershey School?
Milton Hershey School is a world-renowned institution that provides an exceptional education to students from disadvantaged backgrounds. We are seeking married couples to become flex houseparents, providing a family-like environment for our students.
As a flex houseparent, you will reside on campus and work closely with your spouse to ensure the students receive the care and support they need. Your responsibilities will include driving, administering medication, budgeting, and reporting.
You will also receive a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, and relocation assistance. You will enjoy a schedule of nine days on followed by three days off, with workdays including personal time while students are at school.
To be successful in this role, you will need experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. You must also be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services.
As a flex houseparent, you will be responsible for caring for the students' physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. You must demonstrate a high degree of integrity and be willing to undergo training and certification to drive student home vans.
