Foster Family-Like Environments for Students
Milton Hershey School is seeking married couples to become flex houseparents. As a member of our care team, you will provide a nurturing environment for students from disadvantaged backgrounds and guide them in daily activities.
You will live on-campus with your spouse and manage responsibilities such as budgeting, administering medication, and engaging students in family-like settings. This role requires a high degree of integrity, as all staff are role models for students.
We offer a unique compensation package that includes a salary, comprehensive benefits, relocation assistance, and paid training. Our schedule allows for nine days on followed by three days off, with a period of personal time while students are at school.
Qualifications include experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. Both spouses must be age 27 or older and have been legally married for at least two years. We also require a valid driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
