What are the responsibilities and job description for the Family-Like Support Team position at Milton Hershey School?
Milton Hershey School is seeking Couples Housing Facilitators, married couples who can provide a family-like structure for students in our residential program. As a Couple Housing Facilitator, you will reside in on-campus student homes, guiding and nurturing a group of approximately 8-12 students.
About the Role:
You will provide a consistent family-like structure for students, handle responsibilities such as driving, administering medication, budgeting, reporting, etc., and cover different student homes before being assigned to one specific home.
Requirements:
- Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings
- Both spouses must be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services
- Couple must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and demonstrate a high degree of integrity as all staff are role models for students
