Milton Hershey School is seeking married couples to serve as House Parents, providing a nurturing and family-like atmosphere for students from disadvantaged backgrounds.
As House Parents, you will be responsible for guiding students, administering medication, and managing household tasks in a supportive setting. You will play a crucial role in shaping the lives of these young individuals and helping them achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guiding students in daily life skills and activities
- Administering medication and maintaining student health records
- Managing household chores and ensuring a clean and safe living environment
- Providing emotional support and guidance to students
Requirements:
- Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings
- A valid driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
