Family Nurturers
Milton Hershey School is seeking married couples to become family nurturers. These couples will reside in on-campus homes, providing a nurturing environment for students from disadvantaged backgrounds. The role of a family nurturer requires commitment and integrity as they serve as role models in a family-like setting for approximately 8-12 students.
In this unique career path, family nurturers guide students in daily activities and administer care, all while enjoying a generous salary and benefits package. They must be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and take students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services (Note: Proselytizing is prohibited).
A successful family nurturer couple should have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. They should also be willing to relocate to Hershey, PA and abide by a smoke-free and weapon-free campus. Valid driver's licenses are required, along with the ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
