About the Role
Couples will work as flex houseparents at Milton Hershey School, creating a supportive family-like environment for approximately 8-12 students. This involves guiding, nurturing, and meeting the daily needs of students, as well as managing household responsibilities. Residing in on-campus student homes, couples will provide a consistent family-like structure for students and handle responsibilities such as driving, administering medication, budgeting, reporting, and more.
What We're Looking For
We're seeking couples who have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. Both spouses must be age 27 or older, have been legally married for at least two years, and have a high school diploma or GED. Valid driver's licenses are required, along with the ability to become certified to drive student home vans. Couples must be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services.
