Couples serve in on-campus homes, ensuring the welfare of 8-12 students while managing various responsibilities including driving, budgeting, and providing emotional support. This unique role requires a commitment from both spouses, offering competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.
About the Role
We are seeking married couples who have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. Both spouses should be age 27 or older and have a high school diploma or GED.
The ideal candidate couple will be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and take students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services. They must also demonstrate a high degree of integrity as all staff are role models for students.
Responsibilities
As Houseparents, you and your spouse will be responsible for:
- Providing a family-like environment for 8-12 students
- Managing student behavior and academic progress
- Coordinating daily activities, including meals, homework, and free time
- Driving students to appointments and activities
- Administering medication and handling emergencies
- Budgeting and managing household expenses
- Reporting student progress and concerns to school administrators
