In this role, you will provide a nurturing environment for students, serving as a flex houseparent. This involves guiding a group of 8-12 students in a stable family-like setting, ensuring they thrive both academically and personally.
As a Youth Development Specialist, you will be responsible for handling responsibilities such as driving, administering medication, budgeting, reporting, etc. When initially hired, flex houseparents cover different student homes before being assigned to one specific home.
The ideal candidate should have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. They should also have a valid driver's license and be able to become certified to drive student home vans.
