Job Description:
As a Family Support Specialist at Milton Hershey School, you will play a vital role in creating a safe and supportive environment for our students. You and your spouse will live in a student home with approximately 8-12 students, guiding them in their academic and personal development. Your responsibilities will include managing household activities, ensuring student safety, and participating in daily devotions. You will also lead students in Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services and handle other responsibilities such as driving, administering medication, and reporting.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you and your spouse must have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. You must hold a valid driver's license and be able to become certified to drive student home vans. Both spouses must be age 27 or older, and no more than three dependent children may reside in the student home. You must abide by a smoke-free and weapon-free campus and follow our policies regarding pets and substance use.
