Your Role
As a House Parent, you and your spouse will reside in an on-campus student home and care for 8-12 students. Your responsibilities will include driving, medication administration, budgeting, and reporting. You will also lead daily devotions and take students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services. To be successful in this role, you and your spouse should have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings.
Qualifications
Couples must meet specific qualifications to be eligible for this role. These include being legally married for at least two years, both spouses must be age 27 or older, and no more than three dependent children may reside in the student home. Valid driver's licenses and the ability to become certified to drive student home vans are also required. Both spouses must complete an individual employment application. Abide by a smoke-free and weapon-free campus, and limitations on pets apply.
