As a flex houseparent at Milton Hershey School, your primary responsibility will be to provide a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for your students. You will work closely with your spouse to create a family-like atmosphere, engaging in activities such as cooking meals, cleaning the home, and participating in educational events. You will also be responsible for supervising and mentoring your students, helping them develop essential life skills and fostering their emotional and social growth.
Your duties may include:
• Driving students to and from school and extracurricular activities
• Administering medication and providing basic first aid when necessary
• Managing household chores and maintaining a clean and comfortable living environment
• Preparing and serving meals, snacks, and refreshments
• Participating in daily devotions and taking students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services
• Maintaining accurate records and reports related to student progress and home management
