About This Role
This is a unique opportunity for a married couple to join our team as flex house parents. As a house parent, you will reside in an on-campus student home with your spouse and provide a nurturing family-like environment for students from disadvantaged backgrounds.
Main Responsibilities:
- Living with your spouse and 8-12 students in an on-campus student home
- Providing guidance and support to students in daily activities
- Managing the household budget and maintaining a clean living environment
- Driving students to various destinations and administering medication when necessary
Requirements:
- Couple must be married and have been legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid driver's license required; ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Candidates must demonstrate a high degree of integrity as all staff are role models for students
