As a flex houseparent, you and your spouse will play a vital role in creating a family-like environment for students, helping them develop essential life skills and achieve academic success. Couples will work together to manage daily responsibilities, including transportation, administration of medication, and budgeting.
This role is ideal for couples who are passionate about working with youth and making a positive impact. As flex houseparents, you will be part of a team that provides a supportive and structured home for students. You will lead students in daily devotions and take them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services. Both spouses must demonstrate a high degree of integrity as all staff are role models for students.
To be eligible for this role, couples must have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. They must be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking them to Sunday chapel services. The couple should be legally married for at least two years, both spouses should be age 27 or older, and no more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
