About the Job
As a flex houseparent, you will live on campus with your spouse and provide a family-style environment for a group of students. Your primary responsibility will be to create a safe and nurturing space for students to learn, grow, and develop. You will be expected to manage daily responsibilities, such as budgeting, reporting, and driving, while also providing emotional support and guidance to students.
Key Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have a strong passion for working with youth and a commitment to creating a positive and supportive environment. You must also meet specific requirements, including having experience working or volunteering with youth, being legally married for at least two years, and having a valid driver's license. In addition, you must be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services.
Compensation
The compensation package includes a salary of $43,825 per person (a total compensation package of approx. $150,000 per couple which includes free housing, meals while on duty, utilities, and more). You will also receive three-week paid summer vacation and comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance; health savings and flexible spending accounts; life insurance; disability options; and retirement savings.
