Serving as Role Models for Students
Milton Hershey School is a private school that provides an exceptional education to students in pre-K through 12th grade from disadvantaged backgrounds. We are seeking married couples to become Flex Houseparents, who will reside in on-campus student homes and guide and nurture a group of approximately 8-12 students. As Flex Houseparents, you will provide a consistent family-like structure for students and handle responsibilities such as driving, administering medication, budgeting, reporting, etc.
The successful candidate will have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings, and be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services. Both spouses must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and demonstrate a high degree of integrity as all staff are role models for students.
We offer a total compensation package of approx. $150,000 per couple, which includes free housing, meals while on duty, utilities, and more. Additionally, we provide comprehensive benefits, relocation assistance, paid training, and a schedule of nine days on followed by three days off.
