As a House Parent at Milton Hershey School, you will play a critical role in shaping the lives of our students. You will be responsible for creating a family-like environment, providing guidance and support, and helping students to achieve their full potential.
About the Schedule:
We operate a schedule of nine days on followed by three days off, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance. You will also receive a three-week paid summer vacation, giving you time to relax and recharge.
Your Responsibilities:
- Providing daily care and support for students
- Administering medication and managing household budgets
- Leading spiritual activities and participating in chapel services
- Driving students to appointments and activities
Requirements:
- Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings
- Couple must have been legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
