Position Description
We are seeking a Youth Development Specialist to join our team at Milton Hershey School. As a flex houseparent, you will reside in an on-campus student home with your spouse and work together to guide and nurture a group of approximately 8-12 students. Your responsibilities will include providing a family-like structure, administering medication, and managing daily activities. You will also handle responsibilities such as driving, budgeting, and reporting. In addition, you will lead students in daily devotions and take them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services. We are looking for experienced individuals who can provide a structured environment for our students and demonstrate a high degree of integrity as all staff are role models for students. Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings
- This is a two-person job for couples who have been legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses should be age 27 or older
