Milton Hershey School is seeking married couples to become houseparents and provide a supportive environment for our students. As houseparents, you will live on-campus and guide a small group of students, helping them develop essential life skills and providing emotional support when they need it most.
Salary and Benefits

The total compensation package is approximately $150,000 per couple, which includes free housing, meals while on duty, utilities, and more. In addition to the salary and benefits, we also offer relocation assistance and paid training.
Responsibilities
As houseparents, you will be responsible for guiding and nurturing your assigned group of students. This includes providing daily devotions, taking students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services, and handling responsibilities such as driving, administering medication, budgeting, reporting, etc. You must also be able to lift up to 50 lbs and have a valid driver's license. Additionally, you must demonstrate a high degree of integrity as all staff are role models for students.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you and your spouse must have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. You should be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking them to Sunday chapel services. You must also meet certain physical requirements, such as being able to lift up to 50 lbs, and having a valid driver's license.
