About Our Program
Our flex houseparent program provides a unique opportunity for married couples to make a significant impact in the lives of disadvantaged youth. As a flex houseparent, you will live on-campus and provide a family-like structure and nurturing environment for 8-12 students.
You will work collaboratively with other houseparents and school staff to ensure student success, and will have access to comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance.
Job Responsibilities
- Providing guidance and support to students in their daily lives
- Assisting with household chores and maintaining a clean and safe living environment
- Supporting students' academic and personal development
- Participating in daily devotions and taking students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services
Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings
- Couples who have been legally married for at least two years
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
