- Providing a supportive environment for your assigned students
- Driving and transporting students as needed
- Administering medication and managing student care
- Managing household finances and reporting
- Collaborating with colleagues to achieve student goals
Requirements
To succeed as a flex houseparent, you and your spouse should possess the following qualities:
- Experience working with youth, preferably from under-served settings
- Valid driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Demonstrate high integrity and serve as role models for students
