Milton Hershey School is looking for a dedicated and caring married couple to become flex houseparents. As a valued member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic, emotional, and social development of our students.
About the Position
As flex houseparents, you will live on-campus with a group of approximately 8-12 students, providing a stable and loving home environment. Your primary responsibility will be to nurture and guide these young individuals, helping them build confidence, resilience, and essential life skills.
You will work closely with your spouse to create a safe, supportive, and inclusive space that fosters growth, learning, and fun. You will also have opportunities to engage with other staff members, attend professional development workshops, and participate in school-wide events.
Compensation and Benefits
- A competitive salary of $43,825 per person (total compensation package of approx. $150,000 per couple)

Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for this position, you and your spouse must meet the following requirements:
- Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings
- This is a two-person job for couples who have been legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses should be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Ability to abide by a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- Candidates must demonstrate a high degree of integrity as all staff are role models for students
