The Milton Hershey School is seeking a unique and dedicated couple to join our team as flex houseparents. As a flex houseparent, you will provide a family-like environment for students from disadvantaged backgrounds, guiding and nurturing their growth and development.
About the Role
You will reside in on-campus student homes, handling various daily tasks, such as driving, administering medication, and budgeting. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing a consistent family-like structure for students
- Handling daily tasks, such as laundry and meal preparation
- Supporting student academic and personal development
Requirements
- Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings
- A valid driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
