Do you and your spouse want to make a difference in the lives of young people? As a House Parent at Milton Hershey School, you will have the opportunity to provide nurturing and guidance to a small group of students from disadvantaged backgrounds.
This role requires a couple to live on campus, managing daily household activities and supporting the students' educational journey. As a House Parent, you will create a family-like structure for your assigned group of 8-12 students, handling responsibilities such as driving, administering medication, budgeting, and reporting.
We offer a competitive compensation package, including a salary of $43,825 per person, comprehensive benefits, relocation assistance, and paid training. Our flexible schedule allows for nine days on followed by three days off, with workdays including personal time while students are at school.
Qualifications for this role include experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. Couples must have been legally married for at least two years and both spouses should be age 27 or older. We also require a valid driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
We are seeking couples who demonstrate a high degree of integrity and are comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services.
