What are the responsibilities and job description for the Home Life Coordinators for At-Risk Youth position at Milton Hershey School?
Milton Hershey School is seeking married couples to become Home Life Coordinators for At-Risk Youth. In this critical role, you will provide a safe and supportive living environment for students from disadvantaged backgrounds. You will live on campus with your spouse and work together to mentor and guide students, manage daily household responsibilities, and ensure a supportive living situation.
This is a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students and be part of a close-knit community. As a Home Life Coordinator, you will reside in an on-campus student home and care for a group of approximately 8-12 students. You will provide a consistent family-like structure for students and handle responsibilities such as driving, administering medication, budgeting, reporting, and more.
Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings
- Couples must be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services
- High school diploma or GED required
