About the Family-Like Environment:
As a Youth Development Specialist, you and your spouse will work together to create a supportive home life for 8-12 students, ages 5-18, from disadvantaged backgrounds. Your role will involve managing student homes, developing daily routines and activities, and fostering a sense of community and belonging.
Responsibilities:
Drive students to appointments and activities as needed.
Administer medication and manage student health needs.
Develop and implement daily routines, activities, and devotions that foster a sense of community and belonging.
Manage student homes, ensuring a safe and healthy living environment.
Requirements:
Couples must be married for at least two years and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Both spouses should be age 27 or older and have valid driver's licenses.
Experience working with youth, preferably in under-served settings, is preferred.
Able to lift up to 50 pounds and meet the physical demands of the role.
