About the Role:
Milton Hershey School is seeking dedicated married couples to join our team as flex houseparents. As a houseparent, you will play a vital role in providing a nurturing family-like environment for 8-12 students, guiding them through daily life and education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reside in on-campus student homes and provide a supportive environment for students
- Guide students through daily life and education, focusing on their academic and personal growth
- Collaborate with other houseparents and school staff to ensure students' needs are met
- Participate in daily devotions and take students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services
Qualifications:
We seek experienced couples who have worked or volunteered with youth, preferably from under-served settings. Both spouses should be age 27 or older, and no more than three dependent children may reside in the student home. Valid driver's licenses and ability to become certified to drive student home vans are required.
