Job Description
As flex houseparents, couples will reside in on-campus student homes and provide a consistent family-like structure for students. Responsibilities include guiding and nurturing a group of approximately 8-12 students, handling daily tasks such as driving, administering medication, budgeting, and reporting. When initially hired, flex houseparents cover different student homes before being assigned to one specific home.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Candidates must have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. Both spouses should be age 27 or older, and the couple must have been legally married for at least two years. Additionally, both spouses must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and possess a valid driver's license. Couples must also be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and take students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services. Furthermore, candidates must demonstrate a high degree of integrity as they are role models for students.
