Job Overview
Flex houseparents reside in on-campus student homes, guiding and nurturing a group of approximately 8-12 students. They handle responsibilities such as driving, administering medication, budgeting, reporting, etc. When initially hired, flex houseparents cover different student homes before being assigned to one specific home.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily care and guidance to students
- Manage student home budgets and finances
- Administer medications and provide first aid
- Drive student home vans and transport students
Qualifications
- Experience working with youth, preferably from under-served settings
- Two or more years of marriage
- Age 27 or older
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
