What are the responsibilities and job description for the House Parent Couple position at Milton Hershey School?
Milton Hershey School is a world-renowned private school that provides exceptional career-focused education to students from disadvantaged backgrounds. As a House Parents couple, you will play a vital role in providing a nurturing family-like environment for our students in grades pre-K through 12.
Responsibilities:
- Guiding students in their personal and academic development
- Administering medications and maintaining a stable home environment
- Driving students and handling daily responsibilities
The ideal candidate should have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably in under-served settings. Both spouses must be legally married for at least two years and be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services. A valid driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans are also required.
