Job Description
As House Parents at Milton Hershey School, you will guide and nurture students in a family-like environment. Couples are provided with housing, meals, and comprehensive benefits while fostering a supportive community for students. This unique role requires commitment and integrity as couples take on responsibilities that promote the well-being and education of the youth in their care.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, couples must have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. Both spouses should be age 27 or older, and no more than three dependent children may reside in the student home. Abiding by a smoke-free and weapon-free campus is mandatory, along with limitations on pets. Valid driver's licenses and the ability to become certified to drive student home vans are also required.
