What are the responsibilities and job description for the House Parents Role position at Milton Hershey School?
At Milton Hershey School, we are seeking a married couple to join our team as House Parents. As a House Parent, you will provide a nurturing, family-like environment for students from disadvantaged backgrounds while living on campus.
The ideal candidate will have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. This is a two-person job for couples who have been legally married for at least two years. Both spouses should be age 27 or older and be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services.
A valid driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans are required. Couples must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and abide by a smoke-free and weapon-free campus.
