House Parents - Relocation to Hershey, PA Required at Milton Hershey School
Milton Hershey School is hiring married couples to become flex houseparents. Flex houseparents reside in on-campus student homes, guiding and nurturing a group of approximately 8-12 students.
The role requires both partners to demonstrate integrity and commitment to their students' success in a family-like setting.
Couples will provide a consistent family-like structure for students and handle responsibilities such as driving, administering medication, budgeting, reporting, etc.
Flex houseparents receive a comprehensive benefits package, including a salary of $43,825 per person (a total compensation package of approx. $150,000 per couple), comprehensive medical and dental insurance, relocation assistance, paid training, and more.
Other benefits include a schedule of nine days on followed by three days off, three-week paid summer vacation, and opportunities for career growth and development.
Candidates must meet certain qualifications, including experience working with youth, being legally married for at least two years, having a valid driver's license, and demonstrating a high degree of integrity.
Couples must also be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and take students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about working with youth, have excellent communication skills, and be able to work well under pressure.
