House Parents - Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
Milton Hershey School is hiring married couples to become flex houseparents. These couples will reside in on-campus student homes and guide a group of approximately 8-12 students.
The role involves providing a consistent family-like structure for students and handling responsibilities such as driving, administering medication, budgeting, reporting, etc. When initially hired, flex houseparents cover different student homes before being assigned to one specific home.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reside with a group of 8-12 students in an on-campus student home
- Provide a nurturing environment and act as role models for students
- Manage daily responsibilities, including driving, administering medication, and budgeting
- Report on student progress and behavior
- Lead students in daily devotions and take them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services

Qualifications:
- Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings
- Couples must be legally married for at least two years and both spouses should be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
