Milton Hershey School provides a unique opportunity for married couples to become House Parents, providing a nurturing and structured home environment for students from disadvantaged backgrounds. They manage daily responsibilities such as transportation, medication administration, and budgeting while residing on-campus with students.
This role requires married couples who act as role models and mentors, ensuring the well-being and development of approximately 8-12 students. The successful couple will provide a consistent family-like structure for students and handle responsibilities such as driving, administering medication, budgeting, reporting, etc.
The ideal candidates will have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. Both spouses should be age 27 or older and have been legally married for at least two years. They must also be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services.
