As House Parents, you will have the chance to create lasting memories with students, help them overcome challenges, and provide guidance and support as they navigate their educational journey.
About the Role:
- Working closely with students to understand their strengths and weaknesses, and developing individualized plans to support their growth and development
- Providing emotional support and guidance to students, including leading daily devotions and taking students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services
- Coordinating daily routines and activities, including homework assistance and recreational activities
- Maintaining accurate records and reporting to school administrators
Qualifications:
- Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings
- A valid driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
