As a houseparent at Milton Hershey School, you will provide guidance and a family-like environment for students. This unique position requires couples to manage responsibilities in student homes while ensuring a nurturing atmosphere.
The role offers a generous compensation package and comprehensive benefits to support houseparent couples. You will be responsible for managing student homes, providing daily devotions, and taking students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services.
You must be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services (Note: Proselytizing is prohibited).
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings
- This is a two-person job for couples who have been legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses should be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
