Job Description
We are seeking experienced couples who can provide guidance and support to groups of 8-12 students in on-campus homes. As a flex houseparent, you will be responsible for creating a family-like environment, handling responsibilities such as driving, administering medication, budgeting, and reporting. You will also be required to lead daily devotions and take students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. You must be a legally married couple with at least two years of marriage, both spouses being 27 years or older. Additionally, you should have valid driver's licenses, ability to become certified to drive student home vans, and be comfortable leading students in daily devotions. You must also abide by a smoke-free and weapon-free campus, with limitations on pets. A high school diploma or GED is required, and you must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
