Milton Hershey School is seeking married couples to become flex houseparents. As a houseparent, you will provide a nurturing family-like environment for students from disadvantaged backgrounds. You and your spouse will reside in a student home, guiding 8-12 students while managing household responsibilities and participating in their educational journey.

Flex Houseparent Responsibilities
As a flex houseparent, you will:
- Provide a consistent family-like structure for students
- Handle responsibilities such as driving, administering medication, budgeting, reporting, etc.
- Cover different student homes before being assigned to one specific home

Qualifications
To be eligible for this role, you must:
- Have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings
- Be a legally married couple with at least two years of marriage
- Both spouses should be age 27 or older
- Limitations on pets: only fish and one dog of approved breeds are permitted
- Have a valid driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services (Note: Proselytizing is prohibited)
- Have a high school diploma or GED
- Be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Demonstrate a high degree of integrity as all staff are role models for students
