Milton Hershey School is seeking married couples to become flex houseparents. As a flex houseparent couple, you will provide a nurturing family environment for 8-12 students by living on campus and guiding them in various aspects of daily life. This is a two-person job for couples who have been legally married for at least two years. Both spouses should be age 27 or older. You will live in one of our on-campus student homes and provide a consistent family-like structure for students. Responsibilities include driving, administering medication, budgeting, reporting, etc.

To be successful as a flex houseparent couple, you will need to have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. You must also be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services. Proselytizing is prohibited. High school diploma or GED is required, and both spouses must complete an individual employment application.
Couples must demonstrate a high degree of integrity as all staff are role models for students. We limit pets to fish and one dog of approved breeds. Valid driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans are also required.
