Job Description
As a Houseparent at Milton Hershey School, you will be responsible for guiding and nurturing a group of 8-12 students from disadvantaged backgrounds. You will provide a family-like structure, handling responsibilities such as transportation, medication administration, and budgeting. This unique role requires commitment and integrity.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you and your spouse should have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. You should also be married for at least two years, both spouses should be age 27 or older, and you should be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Additionally, you must demonstrate a high degree of integrity and be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services.
