Job Description
Flex houseparents at Milton Hershey School provide a family-like environment for students from disadvantaged backgrounds. As a married couple, you will live on-campus and engage in various activities, including driving, budgeting, and assisting with meals and medication. Your role involves guiding and nurturing students, managing household responsibilities, and fostering a supportive community.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. Both spouses should be age 27 or older, and you must be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services. You must also have a high school diploma or GED, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs.Both spouses must complete an individual employment application.
